As you guys may or may not have known, Primark officially went on tour! This fall, Her Campus and Primark brought fall fashion to various hot spots around Boston and invited fashionistas, local influencers and content creators to stop by and experience their new collection first hand!
Upon stopping by the Harvard Square portion of the tour, I realized that the enormous crowd taking up the entire street was actually a line (or a mob) formed to enter the tour bus! Crazy. But once we made our way to the front, I understood what all the commotion was about. When people weren’t waiting to hop onto the bus, they were lined up behind the “spin the wheel”, where Primark was letting people spin the wheel of fortune to win all sorts of prizes like gift cards, beauty supplies, accessories and lots more!
Of course you know we had to spin the wheel before anything else. Sophie, the Primark queen spun first and lucky for her, the arrow landed right on what she wanted – BEAUTY. Score! The girl got away with a brand new set of beauty blenders that she had wanted to buy anyway. I ended up getting a cute tote that I’ve since then used as my weekend bag. All in all, the wheel of fortune idea was amazing. We saw loads of smiling faces walking away with adorable beanies, new make up and other accessories.
We then made our way onto the bus, which by the way had a very cute aesthetic. As Sophie and I would say, it was very aesthetically pleasing! There lay a bright Primark blue bus with some of the best fall pieces I’ve seen this season. Quite literally, everything we picked out was something we would wear. Specifically their coat section, whoohoo! Also, a content creators greatest dream…a perfectly set up, super cozy photo area! Soph and I made our rounds, took some great content and then made our way to a near by Indian place where we sat for lunch. We really had the best time doing this event together. It ended up being such a great day filled with activities! It usually is a great day when you come home with prizes. :)
